Terms of Sale
These terms govern the purchase of our premium Moodle plugins and related products. Please read them before buying.
Last updated: June 2026
1. Who we are & scope
These Terms of Sale ("Terms") apply to purchases of premium Moodle plugins and related digital products ("Products") from Agunfon Interactivity ("Agunfon", "we", "us"), whether bought through the Moodle Plugins marketplace (marketplace.moodle.com) or via agunfoninteractivity.com. By completing a purchase you agree to these Terms.
2. Our products (open-core)
Our plugins follow an open-core model. A free Community edition is available to everyone, and a paid Premium edition adds further features. Buying the Premium edition gives you the premium package, updates, and support for your licence term — it does not grant exclusive or proprietary rights to the software.
3. Licence
All editions, free and paid, are licensed under the GNU General Public License v3 or later (GPLv3), unless a different GPL-compatible licence is clearly stated for included third-party assets or libraries. Under the GPL, you may install, run, modify, and redistribute the software, subject to the terms of that licence.
Your payment is for access to the packaged Premium build, Premium features, updates, support, licence-key access, and any other paid entitlements during your licence term. Your payment is not for exclusive ownership of the software or for proprietary rights in the code, which remains licensed under the GPL.
Any per-site, per-seat, or tier limits stated on the relevant Product or pricing page apply to Premium services, including updates, support, licence-key access, hosted services, downloads, and other paid entitlements. They do not limit any rights granted to you under the GPL for the software itself.
4. Pricing & payment
Prices are shown on the Product or marketplace page and may change over time; the price shown at checkout applies to your purchase. Payments are processed by the Moodle Plugins marketplace or our payment provider. You are responsible for any taxes or duties that apply in your jurisdiction unless stated otherwise.
5. Delivery
Products are delivered digitally. Access to download the Premium edition and any licence keys are provided after your payment is confirmed.
6. Refunds & 30-day money-back guarantee
Our guarantee. We want you to be confident in your purchase. If, within 30 days of buying, the Product does not work as described and our support team is unable to resolve the issue, we will refund 100% of your purchase. To request this, email support@agunfoninteractivity.com with your order details and a description of the problem within the 30-day window.
Otherwise at our discretion. Because the Products are digital content delivered to you, refunds outside the guarantee above are assessed on their merits, at our discretion. We are generally under no obligation to provide a refund in situations such as the following:
- you have changed your mind about a Product;
- you bought a Product by mistake;
- you do not have sufficient technical expertise to use the Product;
- you are asking for goodwill; or
- you can no longer access the Product because it has been removed (we advise downloading your purchase as soon as you buy it to avoid this).
Purchases through a marketplace. Where you buy a Product through a third-party marketplace (for example, the Moodle Plugins marketplace), that marketplace's own refund rules also apply and may govern how a refund is requested and processed.
GPL note. Because the software is GPL-licensed, on any refund you agree to stop using the Premium edition and remove it from your site(s). Nothing in this section limits rights you may have under applicable consumer-protection law for faulty digital content.
7. Updates
A Premium purchase includes updates for the licence term stated on the Product page (for example, one year). When the term ends the software continues to work, but access to new updates and support requires a renewal. We aim to keep Products compatible with the Moodle versions listed on each Product page.
8. Support
Support is provided through the channels and at the level described for your purchased tier (for example, email or priority support). Support covers helping the Product work as described and resolving defects. It does not include bespoke development, third-party software, or server administration unless separately agreed.
9. Playing fair (acceptable use)
Acceptable use. When you use our websites, demo environments, documentation, support, and Products, you agree to comply with applicable law and with our policies as published on our sites from time to time. You must not, for example: misuse, overload, probe, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to our sites, servers, or the demo environment; use the demo environment for anything other than evaluating the Products; misrepresent the origin of a Product, or use the Agunfon name, logos, or content other than as permitted; or use a Product to create, store, or distribute unlawful, infringing, or harmful content. Your rights in the software itself are governed by the GPL.
Content & access. We may review, moderate, or remove any content you submit to us (for example, on our demo site, in forms, reviews, or other communications), and we may suspend or end your access to our sites, demo environment, or support, at our discretion — for example for quality or security reasons, suspected abuse, a valid intellectual-property complaint, or where we believe your use could result in liability or harm to us or anyone else.
10. Installation, backups & customer responsibilities
Our Products install into your live Moodle environment, which you control. Before installing or updating any Product, you agree to:
- take a complete, restorable backup of your Moodle site and its database;
- install and test the Product on a staging or test environment before deploying to production;
- confirm the Product supports your Moodle version and PHP version, and is compatible with your other plugins, theme, and server configuration.
You are responsible for your environment and for following these steps. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for data loss, downtime, or problems arising from your hosting or server configuration, third-party plugins or themes, or a failure to back up and test before installing. If a problem occurs, removing the Product from your site (and purging caches) will restore it, and our support team will help you diagnose the cause — see sections 6 and 8.
11. Warranties & liability
Except for the guarantee in section 6, the Products are provided "as is" and "as available" to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability arising out of or relating to a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for that purchase. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time of your purchase governs that purchase.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or a purchase will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Georgia, United States.
